Dr. Glenn Singleman and Heather Swan are Australia’s leading husband & wife adventure team. For more than two decades they’ve planned, organised and executed world first projects such as flying their wingsuits across the Grand Canyon from rim to rim, climbing and flying from Mt Meru (6672m) in the Indian Himalaya and the first wingsuit skydives in Antarctica.

Glenn is also a documentary film-maker. He has travelled to remote corners of the world to make many successful films for National Geographic International including four projects with Hollywood Director James Cameron (Terminator, Titanic, Avatar. His film BASEClimb won over 21 International Awards as one of the best adventure documentaries of all time.

 

Heather is a World Record holding extreme sport athlete, the only woman in the world to successfully combine high altitude mountaineering and BASEjumping, let alone wingsuit BASEjumping. She works with Australian Geographic and is also a successful writer and photographer.

 

Glenn and Heather are Australia’s best-known wingsuit pilots with over 1000 wingsuit flights each. They have featured twice on Australian Story, three times on 60 Minutes and in a number of international documentaries including ‘The Search for Freedom’ in 2015. They are the recipients of many awards including the prestigious ‘Spirit of Adventure Award’ for excellence from the Australian Geographic Society.

 

Glenn is an engaging speaker and medical trainer, having conducted hundreds of lectures and workshops around the world. Speaking together Glenn and Heather share their best stories, images and video from their many adventures. They also talk about how they make their extraordinary dreams come true – a process anyone can use to live a passionate, happy life.

Heather lived in Wollondilly for 12 years, running her professional photography and management consultancy business from her home in Douglas Park.

During this time she set up and managed a business unit for Australian Geographic, wrote articles with accompanying photography for top magazines and newspapers and planned and executed the adventure projects she and her husband are renowned for.

 

While living in Wollondilly Heather was able to pursue her passion for horses, trail running and mountain biking along with skydiving at Wilton.

 

Heather has three books published and won awards for her writing and photography. Earlier in her career she set up and managed a business unit of the Australian Olympic Committee, managed a business unit for Australian entertainment entrepreneur Harry M Miller and headed the marketing department of a multi-national software company.
